I will mainly focus my time on lobbying on behalf of the Palestinian LGBTQ community, by working with other activist from other human-rights and women’s organizations to educate others about homophobia and by working with the local press to promote news stories about the diverse Palestinian LGBTQ community. This organization is built upon the work of activists (like myself), therefore I will be actively participating in the events, projects, and the meetings that the organizations intends on undertaking. There will, however, be times, where I will be observing and documenting the experiences of the Palestinian LGBTQ community.
- Personal Biography
Daniel Flores grew up in Los Angeles, California and is a sophomore at Brandeis University. Daniel is double majoring in History and Classical Studies with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. He is the co-president of ¡AHORA! (Brandeis Latino Student Organization) and is involved with Democracy For America chapter on campus. He is interested in working with an advocacy organization on behalf of women's rights.
