Stephen Robinson hails from Gig Harbor, WA and is a sophomore Politics major at Brandeis University. Stephen has studied Spanish extensively and is entering his fourth semester of studying Arabic, anticipating a minor in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies. During the summer of 2008, Stephen travelled to Istanbul, Turkey to participate in the Brandeis/Al-Quds Partnership Institute where he met and befriended Palestinian students from Al-Quds University in Jerusalem. Stephen has created a film to commemorate this trip, and anticipates doing a similar project after his internship through Students Crossing Boundaries. Stephen plans on working in an educational environment while in the West Bank, but has yet to determine an organization with which he will intern. Stephen is also the president of the Brandeis Men’s Rugby Club and is a member of “To Be Announced,” Brandeis’ only improvisation and sketch comedy group.
